Ymir Peak

Whitewater Ski Resort, with an average of 40 feet of snow a season, is one of the most renowned freeride / backcountry destinations in Western Canada.

Combine their legendary Kootenay powder with what Snowboard Canada magazine voted in 2013 as the 4th Best Terrain in the West, you have a skier / snowboarder heaven.

Both the inbounds and backcountry terrain of this area provide a fantastic natural terrain park, complete with beautiful runs, natural launches, cornices, faces, gullies and gentle glades. The resort has best been described as both humble and huge.

Whitewater is an authentic resort that offers a unique experience, only part of which is on the slopes. Serving up award winning and internationally recognized fresh eats, it is the type of place that you enjoy a locally brewed beer and a wholesome, creative meal while sharing the stories from the day.

Whitewater is Pure, Simple, and Real...DEEP
